Membership
Signing up for a library card is easy and will be one of the most valuable things in your wallet. Residents of Admaston/Bromley can join the library for free. Residents of North Algona Wilberforce and Bonnechere Valley can also use the A/BPL for free, thanks to the borrowing agreement we have in place. Just come in to the library with identification and proof of your current address. Non-residents may purchase a card for $20.00.
If you’ve just moved to Admaston/Bromley, bring a piece of mail with your current address. Many patrons will have a cable or electric bill with their new address. If you are under 16, you will need a parent or guardian present to get a new card.
If you have a card with us but have lost it, you will need to show a picture ID, and $1.00 to replace your card. If your card is lost or stolen, notify the Library’s Circulation Department immediately to prevent unauthorized borrowing.
By signing the library card, you are agreeing to obey all rules, take good care of all materials borrowed, pay all fines or damages accrued, and to give prompt notice of change in address, telephone number, or email address.
